please placate me

I managed to get through the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival weekend without crying! Yay me!

I hope my babies were adopted  by nice mamas (and papas).

Did you get something?

I hope you're a nice person.

Help.

I think I'm a nice person and I was able to adopt a Rainbow Bright bundle and a skein of Creamsicle on Adorn. I promise to love and cuddle them :)

"mamas (and papas)."

I now have California Dreamin' playing through my mind and a mental image of Mama Cass in her caftan swaying and singing....and 3 skeins of Adorn Sock in Passion Punch, Brandy Alexander and Creamsicle.....and I didn't get there either. I am a bit devious.... :)

Just so you know, I was there at 11 o'clock on Saturday and I saw no rainbow bundles - could they all have been gone? By 3, the stash of your yarn had been seriously depleted - seriously. I suspect it was all sold over the weekend.

And it is beautiful!!

We see you at MDSW next year, no?

I was there on both Sat afternoon and Sunday... on Saturday I got Westerly SeaSock in Aqua Vida... it is beautiful. I also got a nostepinne and I am going to nostepinne it... I hope it enjoys that!

By Sunday there was very little left... all the sock yarns gone!

Definitely missed seeing your smiling face but some beautiful McClellan Ice Blue Raspberry managed to come home with me. It was the coolest thing I saw all day, maybe next year it won't be so meltingly hot...

Two skeins of Andrea are snuggling at my house. I love them very much. After traveling from an American-Siberia spring, they think that the D.C. heat must mean they are living someplace tropical and exotic. I hope they are not disappointed when they learn the truth.

Kate, Father Time, Estuary, Ice Blue Raspberry, Alchemy, Irish Sea, and a Rainbow Bundle all on Adorn came home with me. two other brands sold at Cloverhill, and one other from another booth also wanted to come, but as you can see, most of what i bought was 3IG. i have to experiment with new-to-me dyers, because that's how i found you!

I was there late on Sunday and saw lots of pretty stuff - but none of yours. Luckily I have VERY nice people who were able to be there (Heather M for one...) much earlier than me, pick me up some of your beautiful goodies!!!

Um...I might have gone a bit overboard: http://www.flickr.com/photos/25292326@N08/4571356897/. 5 skeins of Georgia Peach on Wexford, and everything else on Roslea Organic: 3 skeins of Curagao, 2 skeins of Mimosa, and 2 Rainbow Bright bundles (in place of the partridge in the pear tree). I promise I will be a good Mommy to all!

mmmmmmmmmmmmm
I got the last rainbow bundle. I want to make a sweater with it. Will need to buy more yarn to do this sigh.

I promise to be a good mommy to the rainbow.
