Two pages!

Two pages and eight months of previous club colorways! It warms my heart to see all of these here. :)

Permit me a small detour down memory lane, will ya?

Remember our first month? July 2008.

It all started with this little lady right here, Lady Slipper. I love seeing Lady Slippers growing wild in my native North. (They're very rare.)

She was accompanied by Azalea Orchid and Chocolate Orchid:

August  took a frosty turn with Arctic Circle, Silver Bay, and Moonrise... inspired by my native North.

September sent us venturing around the world with Barcelona, Baltic Sea, and Scottish Thistle:

October was inspired by some of my favorite authors, Tolkien, Lewis, and Rowling:

November was inspired by the colors in my studio. I realized they resembled desserts.  Petit Fours, Fondant Pink, and Icing were born.

December's colorways were conceived by my lovely club members. They keep me going every day. The club members, not the colorways.

Mulled Wine, Jack Frost, Gingerbread House, and Cinnamon Spice:

I wanted only good things for my club members in 2009, so I created Halcyon (Peaceful), Benevolent (Kind), and Auspicious (Lucky) for them.

And last month, I wanted something a bit more muted, given my penchant for saturated colorways. I created Pewter Amethyst (coincidentally, Amethyst is February's birth stone), Vintage Zinc, and Smoky Quartz.

Two pages of colorways. If you had to choose just one favorite, which would it be? I know what mine is...

My favorite is Lewis, hands down. The others are wonderfull, and I always love them most when I am knitting them, but Lewis is the one that stayed my favorite even after I cast on another colour. Which is your favorite?

Even though I don't knit, I can appreciate the beauty of them all. I like Tolkien and Pewter Amethyst best.

Arctic Circle is my favourite favourite, but I love a lot of the other colourways too. Arctic Circle is my favourite because the colours are just awesome together, and blues are always my favourite...

Lady Slipper (which I didn't get since I joined in August), Arctic Circle (which I haven't even knit yet!), and Rowling are my favorites!

Petit Fours is my most favorite, along with Fondant Pink and Chocolate Orchid. I love all of them though,it's so fun being in your yarn club!

What is your favorite Sharon?

I love January's colors because I've seen them in the flesh or in person, my favorite being halcyon (of course they're like entities to me). From what I've only seen on screen, I've ordered mulled wine and it looks rich and velvety like my favorite French wines.

I have to say that Halcyon and Pewter Amythest are beautiful but seriously I could knit them all.

Petit Fors? no. maybe Tolkein? no. Pewter Amethyst? no. No. I cannot pick a favorite colorway. I can however pick a favorite yarn, and it is yours. I'm quite positive my dear husband will be glad when my current project is finished (longies in Lindon Merino). Every time I pick it up to knit I tell him "...how much I love this yarn, it knits up so well..."

btw--I have yet to sign up for the yarn club, but I do come and drool here daily :)

I like Baltic Sea for it's ocean colors. The beach is my favorite place to be. But I also like Tolkien. All the colors that compliment and contrast are so reminiscent of his stories with all their twists and turns.

btw--I guess this is a great way to get people to join the Club!

The Azalea Orchid and Chocolate Orchid yarns are two of the most beautiful yarns I've ever seen!! The Chocolate one looked so yummy you could eat it! xD

Just 8 months? It's hard to believe you've brought this much color into my love in just 8 months.

There hasn't been one I haven't loved, but my favorites were Halcyon and Benevolent. I'm going to make such beautiful things for my children with them!

He, he...that should have been "into my life" not "love." Quite an apropos Freudian slip!

Wow! Love them all, but I think that Lady's Slipper and Lewis are my favourites. As if I needed any more reason to join the club!

I love how clear and well blended all your colors are. I really appreciate how they have a particular direction.

Beautiful yarns.

Auspicious on Springvale Merino which was sent from an angel, whom is still unidentified. I love it so much. It still sits on an end table so I can touch it occasionally. I think I'll make a sweater set some day, when life is better and I can buy the yarn.

I love how Petit Fours swirled in such a lovely way, and the Fondant Pink compliments it so well. Very glad I bought both of those that month. :-))

Such loveliness out in the world. Nice.

P. S. I can't tell you how excited I was for you when the exclusive club colors hit two pages. It's so very exciting to see how much Three Irish Girls has grown. :-))
