This yarn is my yarn.

Today's post is about iced tea.
But I thought that instead of that, I would talk about yarn.
This yarn:

Ain't it purty?
Hello, purty yarn:

I procured this yarn from the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival. It's a blend of organic cotton and alpaca, and I like how the plies are different colors. I like the colors the yarn is dyed. I like it. It's purty.
I intend to make the Miss Dashwood pattern from ChicKnits.
Also, this:

It's silk, from Handmaiden. I'm thinking of making this lacy scarf.
I'm probably never going to get back to iced tea at this point. So if you had really wanted to hear about that, stop reading now.
Here's some other yarn. This yarn is my yarn, this yarn is your yarn. From California to the New York Island. From the redwood forest, to the gulf stream waters. This yarn was made for you and me.
Substitute the word yarn, and this is pretty much what I'm thinking about this yarn.

This yarn (which belongs to you and me, of course), called Waterlilies, was inspired by the famed Claude Monet paintings.
I also created Lilacs and Irises to go along with it.

I'll try to write about iced tea another time, I promise.

Why bother about iced tea? Yarn is a much better subject and you don't have to wash the glasses after.
Aren't festivals wonderful you made beautiful choices. I was hoping that first yarn was one we could buy in the shop I love the plies. That being said I really like your new yarn Waterlilies and can already see a sock in it with a solid heel and toe in Iris. Thank you there goes my money again;)
Okay, so I love the waterlilies. And, being the purple girl that I am, I love Lilacs and Irises. But I kinda want to see that green alone. 'Cause the first thing I thought when I saw that was "Oh WOW, GREEN!!"
Why am I now wondering what kind of yarn iced tea would inspire?
I love these yarns. I was tempted to join one of your clubs by some of the previouse months, but this one has me sold.
I LOVE THE PURPLES! What are you planning for them?
Will you be selling Waterlilies, Irises and Lilacs to the public along with your other yarns, or will these be only for your sock clubs?
Waterlilies is basically perfect. I've been looking for a colorway like that all over and couldn't find one anywhere, so I'd given up.
Now all I can think about is waterlilies, and purples...
Waterlilies...drool.... Oh, I do hope you'll be selling it! My yarn diet does not, but we don't get along, anyway.
