FTY: Day One

Day One as an FTY.

day21.jpg

I don't got no manicure.

Why waste the money, when this is what my arms look like?

day3.jpg

I ain't got no manicure, and I've got me a bad case of glove arm.

The dye collects where the gloves stop.

It's attractive.

Guys dig it.

I'll tell you what else I've got: another couple o'skeins for my inaugural CYSD stocking.

Lilypad.

lilypad.jpg

I've been on a green kick lately.

What you don't see here are the 420 million other skeins of yarn I dyed today. They're purty.

Being an FTY is not good for the hair, or the skin, or the nails, or the clothes.

But it's fun anyway.

Fishmonger 's gloves! This is the solution!

Or maybe...a space suit.....:-)

Lovely" green" skein! For a shawl????

Do I bear any responsibility for this green kick? ;) Perhaps it's contagious.

Haha, I second the space suit! What a purrrtty green! My stashdown may take a beating.

It looks like you had a great day as a FTY! Here's hoping they are all as great as Day 1 :)

You look as happy as the color you dyed! And as pretty, even with lank hair and no manicure!

Shall I just give you my entire paycheck now? Green. I love green. Oh, and some red and brown.
Full time yarnista suits you.

Lilypad....great name! Yes indeedy, you've certainly been on a green kick lately. Love it! But you need longer gloves....you know, those elegant, above the elbow numbers. Only in rubber. Sexy. ;-)

You're adjusting to your new role just fine, it seems. Fits well.

Love that blue color on your arms. I bet it inspires you to make a blue and brown yarn, eh? *giggle*

I'll take a yellow as the sun yarn. I need ten skeins of Cian in almost all the bases.

BYB, Sheepnuts is lovely, and I'm not into brown yarns that much. Except this one and the deep purple with mere hints of chocolate you made ages ago. I do believe that was my first yarn of yours, and on Galenas Merino, still my favorite.

I also believe that word counts of specific lengths were invented for my wordiness. *snicker*

green is the bestest.

Whoever came up with Carpe Yarnem: Sieze the Dye is very, very clever!
I think we'll all benefit from your full-y=time attention to yarn!

Oh, gorgeous!! (The yarn, not the arms!) ;)

Glad your first day was such fun! Clearly you made a good decision.
I'm looking forward to the first stocking of CYSD - what a great name, for a great idea!

You really make good articles I would say. This is the first time I visited your site and so far I am impressed with the research you made to make this article awesome. Good Job!
