Springtime inspiration

Some photos of things I'm loving:
A beautiful stained glass window in my parents' 1920s-era home:
Particularly this little bit:
The weather-beaten texture of these exposed Arborvitae roots:
This has a magical forest fairy quality to it.
The soft minty blue-green of lichen:
And the craggy red rocks eroded by a rushing river:
What's inspiring you lately?

What's been inspiring me lately?
Well, my students are doing final evaluations soooo The sweat on their brows is nice...I'm also thinking about maybe designing a cardigan using TIG yarn... If I can only get my nerve up...
Your joy is contagious!
Delphinium on McClellan DK!! I'm not usually one for blues, but this is wonderful. I love the variations, the sheen of the yarn. I don't even mind re-swatching (since I didn't get gauge, not even close!) with this. What a treasure - and one I would never have bought except for Stash Menagerie, so Thank You!
I'm loving that the cool spring we're having is affecting the plants in a good way - everything is blooming longer, and so profusely. My Willow Amsonia is amazing this year!
I love that little spot on the window. The whole thing is so pretty. I have just met a new flower called Godetia. It is native to the area I live in, but I have never seen it before! Am planting it along my front sidewalk tomorrow. Looks like a begonia, but not succulent. Beautiful butgundy color!!
Oops I'm sure the boys will like that one. Meant burgundy, of course.
